Data Insights (DI) Butler 2023-24 [Question #220, Date: Jan-29-2024] [Click here for Details]
On the diagram, each of fifteen private colleges is represented by a circle and a dot. The light green circle, read against the green scale on the left, gives the college's annual gross tuition income in 2008; the data point is very center of the circle. The black dot, directly above or below the center of the green circle and read against the right scale, gives the college's annual income in 2008 from investments such as endowments.
For these schools, tuition income is with investement income.
Hi Sajjad, Please help me with clarification of one specific point : For the 2 light green dots between 20-25 Th Students range - For almost same tution fee, the investment income shows opposite trend. Then how come the final answer says they are negatively correlated?

The question didn't ask for some specific dots, it asked about the generic relationship between the two variables. Concentrate on the big picture.
