hi all just an update i took my gmat for the first time back in december and did miserable scoring a 350. I sent my scores into the school of my choice and recently sent in an email to the admissions counselor letting her know i will be retaking the exam. They were kind and just asked me to send a date as to when i will be retaking the exam however april 1 is the round 2 descision making for acceptances which leads me less than a month to prepare and score better on the GMAT. I know im pushing my luck but ive read some posts on stories similar and im going to try to make the most of it. any advice as well as links to resources will help

What is your target score? It is possible to increase your score with only a few weeks of studying, and here is a story of one of our students who increased 40 points in a few weeks:

However, if you wanted to improve significantly more, I think it would be worthwhile to set aside at least a couple of months to devote to your GMAT prep. Are you open to delaying your application by one year?

hi beth thanks for your response well that's the thing I'm actually not sure if I am ready to delve into business school right now. I don't think i'm ready to commit two years of my life into school even if i do get accepted. The program I was applying for is an international program based in france that is a dual MA/MBA program. I met with the admissions director last year and she made emphasis that they do not rely heavily on GMAT scores. however my gpa was also extremely low from undergrad and I personally knew that the GMAT will have to be my saving grace to enter any program.
Fast forward a year I have now taken a strong liking to entrepreneurial business and digital marketing. Although my passion is still traveling and i would love the opportunity to work and or study abroad I'm just not sure if it's for me right now right at this moment. At this point i don't know what exactly to do since I have already told the head of the program and the admissions director that I will be re-taking the exam and they replied that they are awaiting my results. I know I would look real bad if i renig now..
Don't know what to do and time is ticking away rather quickly
