a) One of the largest ……..line is an independent clause.
b) For threatening/ to threaten/ that threatens

Options:
creating a new web browser for threatening

creating a new web browser that threatens

which would create a new web browser that threatens

which created a new web browser for threatening

which created a new web browser that threatens

All the ‘which’ options are incorrect because which always modifies preceding noun. In this case, which is modifying product line and hence it is non-sensical (product line cannot create something).

The only difference between a and b is ‘for threatening’ and that threatens. That threatens is more clear.

What is the difference between 'for threatening' and 'that threatens'? How do they change the meaning ?

Thanks

hey ,
trying to put my 2 cents here, see this is just an cause and effect relationship so option A or B could be the right answer , now if we see intended meaning of the sentence we find that " for threatening" implies that the company makes it product to threatens other's so this does not fulfill the condition of cause and effect ,which should be spontaneous , so option A is wrong for this reason and B clearly states the logical meaning .

hope its clear.
press kudos if you liked it .

I disagree with your explanation, "ti" and "for" have different meaning and usage. B is correct but your explanation is not correct.

one tip is to memorize in this way. Thanks for helping me, not thanks to help me. => help indicates a purpose.
in this question, both "for" and "to" are incorrect because the company does not want to create a product that somehow relates to any threat on something else.
Now, everything makes sense?
