Fellow gmat clubbers,
I have one more week left. My goal is 720-760. This is where I stand:
OG - just about complete - though I haven't spent much time reviewing answers. I have mainly reviewed the answers to problems that I have gotten wrong (about 6%) and the answers to problems that I thought took me too much time (or were very challenging).
Kaplan - completed the main book, the math and verbal books, and most of the CD (although the CAT tests kept resetting and i was never really able to get a "good" benchmark score). It seemed as though I was capable of 690-700 in Kaplan.
Princeton Review - completed main book, math and verbal books, and two CAT tests (730,670 ouch)
PP - completed both exams (740,730)
Also worked out of Petersons, Dummies and some of Arco.
I have not:
-done much with probability/counting/coordinate geometry (outside of what is included in the resources listed above). Can someone refer me to a good source for probability and counting for someone who only has 9 days left (i.e. I know there are thousands of problems on this board, but i do not have unlimited time to go through them).
-written any AWA's. I have taken all my exams without AWAs. I am hoping that I will get by on my current writing skills (native speaker). Is it worth going through any of the
OG samples at this point?
And finally, any advice as to how much work i should do in these last nine days? I feel pretty good right now (outside of prob/AWA) but i'm worried that if i take too much time off, I'll be out of it for test day.
Am hoping to reach deap down and improve ever so slightly on my Power Preps, but of course I am disheartened when people say the real test is way more difficult than Power Prep.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Onward,
Htown
