Hello All.I hope you are having a good day.
Well i have been working in IBM India for last 3 yrs as a software developer.I want to go for strategic consulting from a 1 yr college.I have a gmat score of 700(Q 49,V 37)
First, i need to know whether it would be easy for me to get into strategy consulting after my MBA since i have no prior experience in that field.
Second,can you please list down few good 1 yr MBA college for strategy consulting apart from ISB.

INSEAD is probably the top choice for 1 year and consulting. Others would be Kellogg's 1 year program, Cornell's (requires prior advanced degree) and the other strong European schools, which are generally 1 year (I think LBS and IESE are the 2 year exceptions at the top of the rankings).

While having previous experience helps, it is not a requirement for recruitment and many people indeed do use the MBA to switch into strategy.
You should target schools that have strong OCR from consulting firms. 1 year MBAs that fit this description include INSEAD, Cambridge, Oxford, and Kellogg.
