Seeing the above list and a little more research.. Is it that for US one year MBA programs (typically like Kellogg's) , an engineering background with decent number of work experience years is not eligible - as he is not equipped with their core courses / other undergrad business degree ?
hi Hjort
please can you help me with a latest list of top 10 one year full time global MBA schools (India, European and American), which are at par with top 10 two year MBA programs in terms of placements, starting packages and career change. I have 8 years of work ex in fashion and want to get into retail/ management consulting post MBA.
As of now, i have applied to ISB (not with many hopes as GMAT score was low), and planning to retake GMAT and apply to INSEAD in R3.
I have not heard any great reviews about IE school. Its weird that they do not have any application deadlines, and earliest I can apply now it seems is their April 2015 intake as they want application to be submitted a year before the course starts.
I also want to know reviews for IMD. I read somewhere that IMD ranks higher than INSEAD currently. IMD only has a Jan intake, that is too far from now

How about SAID Oxford and HEC Paris? Heard their placement cells are not that great.
how long is London business school MBA. with higher work ex, do you think they could consider a lower gmat score around 650?
What do you say about IIMA and other IIMs one year programs?
Any other good ones that i am missing?
I believe there are no one year programs in US. Kellogg required business education background, hence not for me.
Thanks
