Hello guys,

I was planning to apply to a MBA this year but lots of things happened and I had to postpone my initial plan.

To contextualize, I'm a 27 yo guy from Brazil, graduated in Business Administration in a regular school, with a post degree in Banking in a top school, and 8 y + experience in financial market.

I need to pass on a TOP 10 program, since I will need to be approved for financial assistance in any brazilian institution.

I'm planning to start my study plan on November or December because due to my schedule I have just one hour or two to study during week days and four hour maximum on weekends.

Being a non native speaker, I will have to present a 105+ TOEFL to allow me to be approved on those top 10 program.

As you can notice, my english is really rusty and I have to practice and study as much as I can to improve my skills, and it must be in my plan to.

Summarizing, my study plan draft is:

GMAT
November/17 - July/18
Test on July/18
Application on round I
Material:
Manhattan prep material
Cracking the gmat
GMAT Official Guide

TOEFL
August/18
Test on August/September
Material:
TOEFL Official guide

General English - Starting right now
Reading every material that will improve my english
Writing and speaking practice with a private teacher

What do you think about it?
Would you change something?

Tks

You're preparing over a very long period, so you'll probably need more material than this. But it's hard to say, as there is no indication of where you are at this point. Can you take a full length test soon? That'll tell us just how far you have to go.

Tks for replying.

Unfortunately my schedule is not flexible the way i needed it to be so i have to extend my preparation plan in order to cover all the subjects and, in the end, take the most that i can for 1 or 2 hours study/day.

You are right. I have to take a test asap to figure it out my real level and in with subjects i need to focus my energy.

Probably i will enroll on an online verbal preparation course and, if i need i will do the same with the math part.
