regarding the chance to get a job, which one is better, one year or two year MBA?

I am old, and want to take one year MBA, but am afraid that the chance of getting a job is lower than two year program.

anyone know any thing, pls, advise, comment

thank you

If you are a career changer, a 2 year program probably will help you most with internship opportunity.

I agree with kwok007. If you're using the MBA to change careers then a 2 year is better because you have the chance to do an internship between your first and second year. But if you're looking to advance in your current career track, or you're an entrepreneur or you work for a family business, then a 1 year program is a great option. Also remember that even a 1 year program is likely to increase your options from your current state so I definitely wouldn't recommend against the 1 year if you feel that's the best fit for you. Good luck!

I would definitely recommend a two year program if you are looking to make a career change, regardless of your current age. Also, depending on how much experience you have, you might want to look into an executive MBA program and if that would make more sense for your situation. If you are much older than your classmates in a full time two year program, you might not be able to form a very strong network. While at the executive mba program you might be in the perfect group of peers. Good luck!
