Today I was supposed to write my GMAT and ran into tech problems. After submitting pictures of myself, my room and my ID, a blank screen came up to launch the exam. I stared at a black screen with a white box at the top that was recording me, had a chat and whiteboard option. My computer ended up freezing and didn’t let me write the exam.
My question is when I go to write again and I’m waiting for the exam to launch, what should I expect to see on the screen? Should it be black?

I don't think that's a normal scenario with all. if you were not been able to write your exam you should immediately drop a mail to GMAC regarding same, and see what they have to say.

A similar problem was reported on GMATclub forum sometimes back. In that case, the applicant approached the proctor and explained him the situation and he was allowed to write the exam afresh but because of the stress faced earlier he could not perform well. In your case, you have to approach GMAC since you probably ended up not writing the exam.
I hope you will resolve the issue.
