Hi,
This is one of the general questions regarding RC. So, after going through preparation for around 3+ months and taking help from gmatclub, I am feeling better to take the GMAT. But still I am little worried about timing after taking MGMAT mock. The timing issue was improved when I gave GMATPrep mock which gave me an indication that I have speeded up in solving questions. But still I have some queries regarding RC:
1. How many long passages and short passages will be coming in Online GMAT? Is it kind of fixed or depends on the score level or something else?
2. Will the long passages be 300-350 words long or can they go up 450 words passage? I have encountered some passages in MGMAT Mocks that are about 450 words long?
I believe that answers to above questions will also help other individuals who are trying to plan and focus on Verbal Section.

Perhaps looking at what the Official Mocks threw your way may provide some insight to these specific queries. As far as the Official position goes, the Online version does not differ from the in-person version.

Gmat700Knight: I tried the free GMAT prep official mocks and there is no similarity:
- First mock gave me 2 under 350 words passage and 2 under 250 words passage.
- While the second mock gave me all 4 250 words passage.
I just checked the Official GMAT which tells that maximum length will be around 350 words passage. And probably, it is not fixed how many long passages will someone get but it should be maximum of 2. Am I right?
Considering Official GMAT Prep mock, I was on time in Verbal. But not with MGMAT mock.
