I graduated with a BA Econ from a top 10 US public school, ranked top 50 in the world, got a 680 GMAT (first try), but with an ultra sub-par 2.58 CGPA and was transferred from a community college with a 3.3 CGPA
I had a big 4 audit internship in Hong Kong with returned offer, but rejected because I hated auditing so much after completing the internship.
I'm currently working at Bloomberg HK office as a Data Analyst (4 months atm), and am planning to apply to the MSF programs about 9 months later.
I got extremely interested in Finance ever since working in Bloomberg, so I decided to plan for a MSF degree.
I am currently targeting a few online master of finance program, but I have zero idea about the competition.
The schools I'm targeting are:
Georgetown
Indiana University Kelley
Penn State
On-campus school
Hong Kong University
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Do you guys think if retake my GMAT and get a 700+ score and + 1 year exp can compensate my ultra sub-par GPA?
