Hi. I have the OG GMAT Focus Guide in hardcover for 2023-24. I never had the online access. I want to buy practice questions online from the mba website. I was wondering if the online practice bundle or the ebook with the bundle would have different questions? And which one should i choose? Apologies for the very basic question.

The online question bank access that comes with the Official-Guide 2023-2024 has the same questions in the book itself as well as some online exclusive questions.

"Benefit from 150+ extra questions (only available in the Online Question Bank) in addition to the questions from the Book"

so the online questions that come with the book are the same as the ones in the book but there are additional questions bundles available for sale from mba.com and those do not overlap with the book. Are you talking about those additional question bundles for sale?

bb – Can you please suggest a good strategy on how to best utilize the questions from Official GMAT Question Bank?

Option 1: Should I go through each section (Verbal, Quant and DI) from each difficulty level, finishing all Easy questions, then moving to Medium and then hard?

Option 2: Or do you recommend using the "Pick number of questions" and let GMAT Platform spit out the number of questions randomly, distributing evenly among each section? I did a 40 questions pool tonight and got a possibly evenly distributed pool of questions across all sections but could not finish all in time.

I am working on the time management but for now, I am wondering whether option 1 or option 2 is mostly recommended. Thanks!­

­Hi munimmatin,

To add to the other responses, the "GMAT Official Practice Questions" products have different questions.

The main OG 2023-2024 (print) has fewer questions than the corresponding online question bank:
1. All the IR question types (MSR, 2PA, GI, and TA) are missing from the print version
2. The online question bank has a few extra questions (diagnostic test) and a few additional DS questions that were added sometime after the OG was released
