Hi All,
I am currently scheduled to take my exam in person on 6-30, but wanted to take it earlier on the 23rd.
There are no tests in person in my city available on the 23rd - so I have been debating taking it online. This has caused me a couple issues.
1. One of my testing accommodations is a separate room. The pearson folk thought this may prevent me from scheduling an exam online, since this accommodation is specific to being in person. Has anyone experienced this before? Will this prevent me from being able to schedule an exam online? i.e., if I cancel my in person exam, will I be able to schedule an online exam? When I looked before I scheduled my 6-30 exam, it showed time slots open, but I never went through the process of actually scheduling an online exam.
2. My initial response to this was, well let me try to schedule an exam late in the future and see if it will go through. Unfortunately, all exams post 6-30 appear to be blocked. I reached out to Examify and they said that GMAC has blocked all online exams after 6-30. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi! From what I know, online GMAT exams don't support all in-person accommodations like a separate room. So yes, that might prevent you from scheduling online if your accommodation is tied to a test center setup. Also, it's true—GMAC has announced that the current version of the online GMAT is only available until 6/30, which is why no slots show up after that. I'd suggest confirming directly with GMAC or Pearson if you’re considering canceling. Hope this help.
