You can usually do earlier, but I've never heard of later. But it's quite possible. The time of test is not as strictly enforced as the security involved with it.

Just create an outline and flesh it out. Nothing more to it. Don't bother wasting any thought on it.

cool thx, I got a 690 on the practice test today, so I hope tomorrow I can break the 700 barrier. Im sure I can. Anyone know the relative difficulty of the 2 practice tests to the real thing? I'm guessing its pretty even?

Fairly even. You'll see some people score slightly better (money test takers) and some people score slightly worse (got nervous). But in the end, it's the most accurate indicator.
