Hi everyone,
I took my GMAT offline today and got a 770 (Q51/V45). I had 750-790 in my mock exams so I am happy with my score.
Also, i had my GMAT online scheduled for last week but it could not be started due to technical issues. I have raised the issue with GMAC but am yet to receive any response from them. It is likely however that I will get a voucher for a retake. I did not want to wait for long so I had registered this weekend separately for the offline exam today. I don't think I will get a refund for my online exam so it's a sunk cost anyways.
Now that I already have a decent score, I am wondering when and how should I take the online exam. I am working on a couple of application in R1 but I will also be applying in a few colleges in R2. Should I focus on the R1 applications first and then retake the online exam around late September or should I push for it right now? In terms of prep, I used to get almost a mix of incorrect answers in all three types of Verbal questions. Is there any point in purchasing the comprehensive report? Is there any specific material I can target to maybe get extra 10 points? (tbh, I feel the gap b/w 770 and 780/790 might even be luck or slip-up rather than not knowing how to workout the problem)

If you are certain about retaking the GMAT, it's possible that you could squeeze out a few more points; however, I also think there are no issues with standing pat at 770!

Oh yeah, definitely no issues with the 770 score. Just that I already have paid for the online exam so figured why not try and make something good out of it in a no pressure exam.
