Hello Fellow GMATers,
I wanted to post on this topic since a long time: I was trying to figure out a better solution for optimum utilization of GMAT Prep software. You may be aware that GMAT Prep has a directory of questions and we see a portion of it when attempting the two tests. Once done with the two tests - I wanted to further get through the remaining questions - but preferably in exam mode using GMAT Prep software. One solution is to erase the software and re upload it. But, I did not wanted to go that route - as I wanted to save my previous attempts - to review my mistakes, timings, etc. in future as well.
A great and easy solution that I came up with was creating a new user profile in my computer. You can do that in Mac or Windows, just create a new user profile. And, upload your software there. This way - you would keep your old results intact and can attempt new tests in GMAT Prep software. Usually, you would see new questions in the new attempts (as have I)- because as you attempt the previously seen questions, if you got them wrong the first time - the probability that you will get them right the second time is more, and then test automatically takes you to the next level.
One tip - I did not review the first two attempts on GMAT Prep. Since I planned to further attempt GMAT Prep tests with the new user profile.
If you need any help in figuring out how to create new user profile - please post your questions.
thanks!!
