Hey!
Would it be wise to address multiple topics in the optional essay? I/m thinking of addressing the following topics:
1. Choice of recommenders since I come from a family business background.
2. My family business and what it is into - Since we have multiple entities and no umbrella company.
3. I have done my masters in commerce which is a full time course but was working at the same time since the University permitted us to. Would it be wise to explain that or brand my post graduate degree as a distance learning course? If distance learning course should I write distance learning in the resume?

Dear Virah,
Sure you can address multiple issues in a single essay. And all these three issues do seem like things you can write about. They all seem like quite logical choices to me.
Just keep in mind that no matter what you choose to write about, that the purpose of the essay is not to "apologize" or even "Explain" as much as it is to BOOST your profile, in this case by giving them certain pieces of vital information.
