Over Experienced or Just Ripe?

Hi,
I am looking for some advice around my decision to give a shot to do an MBA at Ivey. For a brief background, i have over 13 years of experience in Marketing, Consulting & Strategy roles post my PGDM in 2001. For some personal reasons, my family and i have decided to immigrate to Canada and we are expecting to land there by June 2015.
From whatever i have learnt, in order for me to get some credit for my experience (whatever little), i will need to complete some form of Canadian education. Since, i always wanted to do MBA from a known international school, i have decided to do a full time MBA from Ivey.
However, going by the statistics of this group, i certainly fall over the margins on age & experience. Will that be a disadvantage going in?
Also, if there are any people who sailed in my boat, what is your advice? Should it be a full time MBA or an eMBA? Mind you, my objective will be to enhance my career and at the same time get a respectable job in Canada.
Happy to present more facts! Look forward to wise inputs.
Regards,
Gurpreet
