CONCLUSION - Television viewing leads to increased levels of violent activity in young adults.

GIVEN -

1) Children viewing 6 hours or more TV daily are 4 times more likely to be arrested for violent crimes than young adults who watched TV for 2 hours or less during their childhood.

ANSWER CHOICE ANALYSIS-

A) Watching violent shows has any effect on the children is not known as it is not mentioned in the passage

B) Changes the conclusion itself

C) CORRECT - Some other factor can also be responsible for the violence like parental style which is not mentioned by the author

D) People above the age of 40 are not taken for the study hence not related to the conclusion

E) Those arrested caused serious injury or not doesn't affect the conclusion
