Hello,
I have just taken my GMAT yesterday
I had 710 which I am very happy about, I am applying for France schools HEC, ESSEC, ESCP and LBS, INSEAD.
Verbal: 42 (percentile 96)
Quant 45 (percentile 54)
and I thought I did badly during the exam, I didn't really do the IR part and I got 2 in Integrated Reasoning (percentile 9)
However, usually, I score very high in Quant and low in verbal so I was really surprised.
I was wondering if for the top school the overall 710 would be enough, or if the only average, not so good score in maths, added with the really bad IR, could be bad for my application?

Congrats! A 700 score means great, especially for European B school. Your quant score might be an issue. You can contact Businessconquerer to have authentic information and advice.

Hi Constance,
First off, a 710/Q45 is an outstanding Score, so you can comfortably apply to any Business Schools that interest you. As such, a retest might not be necessary. While the Q45 is a solid performance in the Quant section, it won't "impress" anyone (and if you're interested in Finance Programs or other Specialty Programs, then you might need to consider retesting with the goal of scoring higher in that section). Since you know the specific Schools that you plan to apply to, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:
