Hello to all this year Oxbridge applicants!
Even though Oxford has not finalised the decisions for R4, the stages for 2010 admissions are already up. They seem to eliminate R4 and also moved the deadlines almost a month earlier – interesting. Cambridge have not changed their major admission schedule - they will have five rounds this year as well - but there is mentioning of introducing an online application system (similar to the Oxford one, I guess). Also, note that Cambridge did not give the deadlines for interview decisions - only the dates of the interview events.

Does anybody know when the Essay Questions will be released? I'm assuming there is not much difference between last year's questions? Does anyone have a last year's questions that they can send me?

It’s nice to see this thread to come alive!
Application will be available from the beginning of September – maybe a bit earlier for Cambridge. Also, Cambridge usually changes their question from year to year (they had three essays of 400 words and also some mini-essays questions in the app itself) – so I think there’s no point in preparing them in advance. If you are interested, their old app can still be downloaded here.
Oxford, on the contrary, is known to keep its essay topics – so, here they are:
Cambridge will probably have some version of ‘goals’ and ‘career path’ essays too, so I’d say Oxford Essay 1 could be re-used (at least partially) for their app as well.
