p is an integer; n is an integer; and p/n is an integer. Is p/n odd?

(1) p is divisible by 4.
(2) n is divisible by 4.
I think both statement is insufficient as according to statement 1 p can be 0,4,8,12,16,20.....but don't know about q
statement 2 n is divisible by 4 but we don't know about p
and according to c lets take p as 8 and n as 4 so result is integer and even
and if we take p as 12 and n as 4 result is odd. so E is the answer Oa PLZ...

As it says in the question, OA will be revealed on 15th feb. But most likely answer will be E, as explained by you and the post above you.

Easy if we plug in some values, as clearly the statements individually aren't sufficient.
p = 40, n = 8: p/n = 40/8 = 5. Even.
p = 80, n = 4: p/n = 80/4 = 20. Odd.

Important question...

A silly yet serious mistake many of us make is to think that If p is divisible by n and both p and n are even ==>even then the result will be even

\(\frac{Even}{Even} = Even/Odd\) (as Even number multiplied by any number is always even)

The truth whereas is that the result may be either even or odd even if both Numerator and Denominator both are even

Also, note that on similar lines
\(\frac{Odd}{(even/Odd)}= Odd\)
