I called them just now. One of my recommender is travelling and can't do this for at least tomorrow. The lady said that I should try to get it in asap but didn't give me a deadline..

Oh i don't think that should be much of an issue but 2-3 days should be fine

Hello Peeps,

Had my interview last Sunday at a Cafe in Mumbai with an Alum. Sharing my experience for the benefit of those who are gonna interview in later rounds.

First of all I would like to say that the best way to approach this interview is to think of it as a conversation with an Alum.
1. Discuss your aspirations, goals and even queries earnestly.
2. At the same time treat it as a formal interview in terms of your dressing and language.
3. Try to give specific examples for each aspect you are talking about

I was asked questions on the following aspects:

1. Go through your resume
2. Why MBA
3. Why Duke
4. Any experience as a leader where you failed. What did you learn?
(I had given a non work related example)
5. Follow up question- How did you apply this learning in your professional life?
6. Strengths/Weaknesses
7. What will you do if some one from the team is not performing ?
8. Any example of collaboration that you have achieved ?
9. Any questions for me ?

Just be cool, confident and yourself during the interview.

did you apply to EA round or round 1?

Must be EA. R1 invites are some time away.

I submitted my application for R1 - looks like the applications are still being processed. Does anyone know approximately when interview invites will start being sent?

tomorrow is the big day for those of us who applied EA!

I think Fuqua releases the decisions a day before for other rounds. How does it work for EA?

Just based upon the interview invites, Fuqua released the interview decisions on the same day as posted on their website. I don't expect to see the admissions decisions come out today, but it would certainly be a pleasant surprise if they did.

Has anyone applied EA without visiting campus?

Does anyone know whether decisions are all released online only or do they call admitted applicants as well?

I am pretty sure that they will call admitted applicants, with an update online later that day, good luck for tomorrow
