Hey, wanted to get your thoughts on this email I got from a first year at Ross. I interviewed last week and a couple of days ago got an email from a first year sharing her background and asking me if i had any questions. Is this standard? Any thoughts on how I can use this interaction? considering I've already spoken to multiple students/alumni and ross is my top choice.
I got the same email earlier this week. I interviewed this weekend.

I don't want to not ask anything but the fact is that my research with alums, students, website has been pretty extensive and I'm not sure how to leverage this interaction
MBAClassof2020: I interviewed on 5/11
I think i just said thank you for reaching out to me and i would love to hear more about your experience at Ross and we met while i was visiting this past weekend and talked about everything from our histories to Ross to Ann Arbor etc. i wouldn’t see it as “leveraging” the person but just getting to know them and their experience at Ross. First and foremost I felt like I made a new friend the Ross information was secondary.
I would talk to them whether or not you feel like you know enough about Ross. This could be your future FACT group leader or Mtrek leader instead of seeing it as bschool research try to think of it as making friends before you start!
