Hi,
I like your profile. What I read here shows consistently above average performance at work, career progression, and the impact you have made on your organization. International experience is always valued by business schools for the qualities it instills in a person - and since the environment at business schools is highly international, prior international exposure helps candidates to thrive there. The entrepreneurial experience could be another plus. I don't know the extent of your involvement or your contribution, so this area will need some more explanation.
Taking GMAT again is a good idea as you plan to apply to several b-schools, and the American ones generally have a higher GMAT expectations from applicants from your pool. Moreover, you have a low GPA and that's not going to help at all. Aim for a 740+score. You may also need to address the low GPA in the optional essay. Again, we will need more information here about the reasons for the low score, before giving very definitive advice.
So as I see, you have your task cut out for now- retake the GMAT. I hope that you have set a deadline to this as the first rounds at most MBA programs start in September. Do note that along with stellar test scores, strong execution of applications will be crucial for hearing positive news from b-schools.
