Hi all,

Thanks for reading this in advance. I've been admitted to both the UCLA FEMBA program and USC's PM MBA. I've gotten similar scholarships for both schools, and live about 2 hours south of USC, and 2.5 hours south of UCLA. My background is in consumer products in beverage alcohol working in a start up. My goal post MBA is to start my own brand in my current industry, so I'm really looking for entrepreneurial guidance and a larger network in the Southern California region as my focus for my brand will be regional. I've looked at the Financial Times guide for Entrepreneurship and it ranks the schools neck and neck, and from what I can tell they both offer similar opportunities for entrepreneurs. If you have any insights on the FEMBA flex program or USC's PM program about your experience or a friends, I'd appreciate it!

Hello the6thgen

In general UCLA is stronger brand and better business school.

For instance FT ranks UCLA as 26. and USC on 46. place:

Economist is even more direct, UCLA is 8. vs USC being on 28. place :

For part time MBA rankings is also clear, provided by US News, UCLA is on high 5. place nationally while USC is 11. place, furthermore overall rankings for business schools is again in favor of UCLA :

Forbes ranks UCLA as 15. vs. USC being on 33. place:

Here is my post mentioning UCLA FEMBA program, for more insights :

I would say that is obvious that UCLA is better choice, however decision should be yours !

Good Luck :geek:
