Can someone please let me know how much the difference is in the time duration (MBA Completion) b/w full time and part time? I know it probably depends on an individual. I wud just like an average difference. I cudn't find this info on the GSB site. Thank you.

If I am not mistaken, they usually both run about two years. The main difference is that fulltime you get to network and take on an internship. The internship is key for career changers. So if you are planning to change the field you work in I would suggest strongly looking at fulltime programs.

Full-time programs are generally 2 years. Part-time programs are generally 3 years. I do not believe there are any programs where duration is determined by the individual.

I think he means that in most of the part-time programs (Not executive programs), you get the flexibility of taking one or two courses in a semester. So in a way, you decide the length of your program. At Chicago GSB part-time MBA, for example, the range is 2 1/2 - 5 yrs.
