Part time/Weekend MBA Fisher (OSU) vs Kelley (IUPUI)

Part time/Weekend MBA Fisher (OSU) vs Kelley (IUPUI) [#permalink] New post   07 Jun 2018, 18:14
Profile :
Work Experience : 9 Years (SW)
Current Role : Team Lead
Eduction : Btech (IT)

I got admits from both Fisher and Kelley. Since both colleges have similar kind ranking for part time MBA so cannot decide which one to go for. I want to continue working in tech companies post MBA but in leadership or product management roles.

I was wondering if someone could shed light whether Fisher or Kelley will be a better option or can share their experience on the Programs.

Please Help.

You mentioned you want to be in product management. For product management, Kelley should be your calling!

Congrats! I would suggest looking at the full-time rankings since recruiters often base there perception on the full-time program rankings.

At the same time if you go to the part-time program, it’s a different animal. They don’t really assist you with recruiting and they assume that you work during the day. I don’t know if there’s an OPT option at the end either....

Thanks B.B.

Both Fisher and Kelley ranks 31 and 27 respectively for it full time MBA while 9 and 11 for part time in US. Since both have similar ranking so it’s difficult to choose amoung them. Since I am currently working on H1B will not require an OPT. Since the time I graduate will have more than 10 years experience, so I don’t think it will be difficult to find full time job through Job portals and networking. Since I am not changing industry, I hope to get a good role with help of the career services that both the colleges provide to their part time MBA’s.

Request for input and suggestions.
