can please somebody explain to me how to figure out that the sentence is in passive voice, active voice, subjunctive mood,etc with examples.

Active voice - the subject gives the action
ex. I ate the bread
Passive voice - the subject receives the action
ex. the bread was eaten by me
These two sentences mean the same thing but the 'tone' is different
Subjunctive mood - Most likely, wishful thinking
Ex. If I were rich, I would be happy
Ex. If Sarah weren't late, we would have made to the movie in time.
Notice that the verb is always "plural verb"
Also, I suggest you get the Manhattan GMAT SC book, its a must!
