Hi there,
It sounds like you have a pretty good feel for your profile and main weakness, being the GPA. It can be tough to get into a top-tier b-school with that GPA, simply given that they have so many applicants with great grades that they have to turn away. Your better chances would be schools with slightly higher acceptance rates (they can vary; acceptance rates are listed as a data point on the US News rankings list); and/or outside the top 15 or so. Things you could do to help include raising the GMAT even more; taking a course or two that are relevant for b-school and getting A's; taking HBx core (offered through Harvard, anyone can do... many schools respect the rigor of that program and it's great prep for b-school). Good luck to you!
