Hi to all.
I am a Greek GMAT candidate and I had arranged to sit for the test at the 13th of March. Just yesterday I got the following email from Pearson VUE, saying that I cannot take the test as it is not approved by the Greek government. My guess is that it is probably due to the new fingerprinting Pearson rule.
I would like to know if someone else has encountered a similar problem someplace else. I would also appreciate any ideas on how to deal with the issue since it is an understatement to say that I am frustrated... After studying for almost 6 months and a 650 Euro course this happens one week before my exam. I am also bound to miss some of my deadlines, the first one is for the 28th of April.
Thanks to all for the inspiration you have been for the last months.

Dear GMAT Candidate,
We regret to inform you that the Greek government has not approved GMAT testing in Greece.
Until we receive this approval, the only committed appointments we can offer are in countries other than Greece. GMAC will be able to waive the testing fee but travel would be at your own personal expense.
GMAC is willing to notify your school of this situation and request extended consideration on your behalf. GMAC will send an e-mail confirming this to yourself as well as notification to the school that you have applied to.
If you do not choose to test in another country we would recommend that you reschedule your test to May 2006, pending government authorisation, or choose to cancel your registration and get a refund.
Please note that we do not have a committed date from the Greek government at the moment. Therefore a successful rescheduled date in May would be dependent on authorisation from them.
Pearson VUE will contact you shortly to request your personal details as well as the name of the university/school you are applying for, the programme number/code, the deadline for submission and to discuss any other requests/comments or actions as required.
As soon as testing in Greece is approved, Pearson VUE will contact you to schedule your new test.
