Hi guys -

I am a 24-year old female, originally from Nigeria. Moved to the States for college education.
Work experience – I currently work at a top investment bank in NYC as a business analyst/project manager handling technology projects, and I’ve been there for 3 years. Was promoted to Assistant VP after 2nd year. My role has changed for handling minor parts of tech projects to actually running regulatory projects with a team of 3 people.
GMAT Score – 660 (q39, v41, AWA 5.5)
College info – Georgia Southern University (second-tier college). GPA – 3.4. Graduated in 2008 with a BS in Information Technology with a concentration with Knowledge Management and Integration, and a minor in Marketing.
Extra-curriculars – Active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority (Technology Chair of my college chapter), Volunteer/Mentor with Free Arts NYC, Member of Nigerian organization Red & Gold Catalysts, which put together volunteer and community events every year.
At work, I’ve also mentored 2 interns in 2010 and 2011.
Speak conversational French, and several other African languages.
Target programs – Yale, Duke, Booth, Ross, Kellogg and Darden.
Recommendations - Current Supervisor, Past Department head, and possible coworker/team member.
Post-MBA goal – I would like to go into Management/IT Consulting, with a special interest/focus on African companies.

What would you say are my chances for the chosen schools, and if you could rank them by highest chance to lowest...thanks!

Hi there, your GPA is good and your work experience with a BB is also great. The only thing holding you back is your GMAT score. At 660, it puts you at a disadvantage big time. If you have the time and resource, I'd say go for the test again; if not, don't hold back and apply. It's fairly easy to say that Kellogg and Booth are going to be tough shots on your list. You have better chance at Darden, Ross, Duke, and Yale.
