nice to see people replying already.. I am aiming for 700+
not taken a date yet.. planning to take a free cat test today and then decide the date.

hi frens
I had given my actual gmat with a month's prep on aug 27th but scored 640(Q49,V28).. was completely devastated :( after a week or more I started preparing again. Just finished manhattan gmat free test and scored 690. Did pretty bad in quants(45),verbal(38). How much does the mgmat resemble the actual test? I have heard mixed reviews.

Have you tried a gmatprep test yet? That will be the best indicator of your score.

From my experience with the MGMAT practice tests, I feel that the quant is more time consuming, there are many problems that tend to require more calculations. So overall people say that the mgmat quant is a bit more difficult, while the verbal is a bit easier.
