Hi All - My first post on the forum!
I'm currently an advertising professional - Account Manager at an Advertising start-up.
Previously I did a bit of Marketing at an IT services Company.
Overall 6-7 years of experience (1.6yrs advertsing, 2-3 yrs IT services marketing/planning, 2 yrs programming)
Education - Engineering (electrical) + MBA (HR) from a top Indian b-school.
Advertising is the field that I want to be in and it interests me a lot. I'm looking at doing a Phd. But could not find anything related to Advertising. Closest was Phd in Marketing.
Qn1 - Are there any excellent Advertising Phd programs in any school
Qn2 - If no, is there a Marketing Phd at any school that has good Advertising courses/focus
Qn3 - with my qualification/work-ex, will they consider me for a Marketing Phd
Qn4 - suggestions for great schools that offer excellent Marketing Phd program
Qn5 - Other than Miami Ad school is there any other great program (other than Phd), maybe MS/MBA that stresses on advertising management.
Any other practical advice/links that can help ease my concerns, will be highly appreciated.
