Hello everyone,,
I am looking to apply for a PhD in business administration. Beyond my interest in the subject, I have to determine if it is a practical path.
I keep seeing reports of high demand and low supply for PhD's in business administration - particularly in finance and accounting. It just seems too good to be true since every other field seems to be oversupplied. So is it true and is it expected to continue?

Thanks...
Well I might say PhD is Business administration is not so common as the roles are doing PhD is more in research area than being in Business, However if you are By chance talking about DBA, its more of business oriented and leads to More higher position in Business like CEO, COO etc.
Plus You need more significant work experience to do DBA than having a PhD in Business.
So it does depend on you whether you want to pursue research field than definitely Go for PhD and if not you might have to wait till you gain significant work ex eligible for DBA, if you already don't have that.
