I got an interview invite from Haas EWMBA today but I'm in London right now and I won't be in Bay Area till April (after R2 is over). They offer me phone interview but do you think it'd worth my money and time to fly to Bay Area for an onsite interview?

If it's really where you want to go, do what's necessary for making sure that the adcom "sees" you. If you feel that you interview as well by phone as you in person, don't bother to travel. But if you believe that meeting folks in person will make a difference, get on a plane or see what your options are for having an alumni interview in London. Shouldn't hurt to ask.

I am terrible at talking to people on the phone because I have to be able to see the other person to respond well (at least for me)
Go to the campus if that's the school you REALLY want to go.
On a sidenote, I had asked the adcom of the Haas EWMBA and they told me there was no disadvantage to apply for R3. (I am not applying to Haas EWMBA anymore)
