I am working on my applications right now. but wondering how good the photo quality should be?
It is common to have the photo taken by professional photographer or ok to take it with my computer or phone?

Hello, Sivatorne. Given the current state of the world, I would be shocked if the photo had to be taken by a professional photographer. All the same, I would expect an image to be of professional quality, with content befitting the situation (no selfie with a stupid phone in the picture and a smirk on your face). According to a blog article from Amerasia Consulting Group,
Upload a picture that is professional, not gangsta or Gangnam, and minimize the number of other people in the pic. So don't fake bake, pucker your lips or wear anything with sequins or flair. Chicago Booth wants a slide show and you should really be submitting pictures of yourself in this presentation - so no grainy Motorola star-tac quality pics, or pics with your shirt off.
That makes sense to me. Be conservative and do the best you can with what you have, even if that means working with a friend whose uncle likes to take pictures with a DSLR.
