The other books just have more questions.

If you want to practice more, buy them.

They have their own set of questions.

But OG and official practice tests are closest to the real exam.

Hey everyone! I’m planning to buy the TTP course in the future for my GMAT preparation. Before buying it, I had a few questions:
1) Is the TTP course sufficient for my GMAT preparation (I have 4 months to prepare)
2) Should I purchase the official GMAT books (the official guide and three other guides) from mba.com if I’m already enrolled in the TTP course?

Thanks!

Hi Peterparker2. Yes, TTP should be enough but you should get the Official Guide. Everyone needs it regardless of which course you get (some buy it for you).

TTP is an excellent resource for structured GMAT prep, especially if you have four months to prepare. It provides a comprehensive approach to both Quant and Verbal, ensuring strong concept reinforcement. However, its mandatory to complement your prep with official GMAT questions.

That said, almost all problems from the Official Guides are already available on GMAT Club. You can filter by the "Official Guide" tag and practice them there instead of purchasing the books separately. This way, you get access to high-quality, real GMAT questions while using TTP’s structured approach for concept mastery.

Best of luck with your prep!

Hi bb,
What do you mean by "some buy it for you"?
Also I'm planning to buy the official guide. But should I guide the three other guides too for the different sections? Also I noticed the physical books on amazon are much cheaper than the ones on the official website. Is there any difference?

Note: The main thing I'm definitely going to buy from the official website are: All 6 practice tests, and official guide.

Hi Peterparker2,

Sorry for the delay! Here are my responses:

1) Yes, our course is sufficient to prepare for the GMAT in 4 months. Just be sure to follow the Study Plan!
2) Once you have completed our course, working through the Official Guide questions are a great way to reinforce your GMAT skills.

If you have any additional questions, be sure to reach out. We've got your back!

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the reply. I had one more question: Which course should I buy? Is the Self-study course, the one that people mostly talk about, is sufficient? Or is it the Ondemand course. I'm confused which one to buy for a full preparation.

All of our options (text-based instruction, video-based instruction (on-demand, which also includes test-based instruction), or online "classroom" instruction) are sufficient to help you reach your target score.
It depends on which mode best suits your learning style.
