If you are asking about GMAT Club Tests, then yes these are more effective to polish the skills to score above 49 in real test. So we can say that these tests do help in reaching from Q 45 to Q50. For beginners or for whom, who score in 40-45 range, first thing to do is start learning the basics. I would recommend MGMAT guides again, as these have got many positive reviews here best-gmat-books-reviews-recommendations-for-your-prep-77703.html.

If you are taling about gmat club math forum, without a shadow of a doubt, its the best place to plan & execute your gmat test. Thousands of Q & verbal questions with discussions are available. Tag search function is also available which can lead you to a topic wise problems archive.

Best of luck!!! :)

Yeah!!! Firstly, complete the MGMAT guides. Thos guides contain the topic wise listing of OG 12, QG 2 & VG2 questions. So by completing a book, you will also complete the related questions in OG, Q & V guides too. The completion of 5 books will increase your Q skills & then you will enter a phase where you will need to brush those skills so that you may reach 50 in Q in real test. For getting a 50 in Q, gmat club tests are the best option. One more resource is Jeff Sackmann's extreme challange. But that stage will come later. Right now kick off your preparation!!!

& one thing more 99% of gmat test takers underestimate the verbal part. Remember a score of 50 in Q will not ensure a 700 unless you get atleast 38 in verbal, which is a hard task for many. So do think about verbal too!!!

Best of luck!!

MGMAT SC & PowerScore CR are considered bibles of SC & CR. So use those. You can also go through the verbal books review here at this forum. For RC, I will not recommend any specific book. In RC, practice, focus & timing is the key. If you feel difficulty in RC, search for Gins RC guide thread here.

& be here at this forum. ;)
