Hi Experts,

Please analyze my ESR

I am an Indian who scored 660 (Q46, V35) in GMAT yesterday. My official mock scores are in the range of 650 - 720 . My last mock score (official mock 5) was also 660(Q48, V33),and I took this mock 1 week before exam. I'm planning to practice 20 Quant and 20 Verbal official questions , including a mix of Medium, Hard, and Extra Hard questions, sectional wise every day for upcoming days and to take 1 official mock per week. I will spent 3 hrs in morning and 2 hrs in afternoon for GMAT preparation every day except Sundays. I think it takes me around 3 weeks to cover all topics in this way.

Section order : Verbal - Quant - IR - AWA

Next Attempt - 14th September 2023

Target Score 700 - 720

Thanks in advance :please: :blushing:

Read carefully RC passage, spent enough time to fully understand the passage. Then you can easily compensate time, as now you can answer questions in a minute. Work on errors you made, don't rush, don't do careless mistakes. You can improve your quant in 3 weeks and it will bring you to 700+

Hi davidgarythomas84,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for - and before we get to the data in your ESR - it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi davidgarythomas84.

Looking at your ESR, I see that you need to work on RC an Geometry in particular.

This video could help things click for you in RC.

Also, I notice that you missed some relatively easy questions a the beginning of the Verbal section. Getting easy and medium questions correct is the foundation of achieving a high GMAT score. So, be sure to shoot for very high easy and medium accuracy when practicing.

Hi davidgarythomas84,

I see plenty of responses, but I'm wondering, did you score lower or higher than you did on your official GMAC practice exams?
