Hello guys, I have some questions about TOEFL.
1. I usually end up writing 350+ words in the intergrated writing and 450+ words in the dependent writing and I've heard that writing around those words will get me a high score (27-30). Is it true?
2. I usually have a lot of problems with lectures about Geology because I simply cannot follow what the professor is saying. I can ace other lectures but not geology. Do you guys have any solutions to this?
3. How can I ace the summary questions in the reading when they are too hard? Should I make notes about the passage?

Hi!
Well, writing a certain number of words will not get you a high score. Raters are looking for:
1. development - the amount and kinds of support for your ideas,
2. organization,
3. language use.
Do you have an official guide? It has a section describing how the essays are scored, along with sample essays.
