As the subject line states, please answer with explanation - I got it wrong and I want to know why
The bus stop outside New Malden police station is visited by the 131 and 265 buses. A 131 bus stops there at exactly 4p.m. What can we conclude about the people waiting at the stop at 4.01p.m. the same afternoon?
I. They are probably not waiting for a 131 but we can't be sure.
II. They are probably waiting for a 265.
III. They are definitely not waiting for a 131.
A. I only
B. II only
C. III only
D. I and II
E. II and III

Interesting question.
Well, different people keep different times, within a minute or so. Some people set their watches fast while others like to sleep in and rush. still others may presume the bus might be late. The clincher is that we don't know what time the 265 bus arrives.
I'd guess probably + probably not = 1 (with no overlap)
My logic: some people at 4.01PM could have arrived just then and missed the 131 by a minute or less. Since there might be some people who missed the 131, we cannot be sure that ALL people in the bus stop are waiting for the 265. Putting these together, I choose choice D, as GMATT73.
