Hello,
I've only recently started looking at MBAs so I'm a bit behind the curve on admissions for the current year. Could you let me know whether you think I'd be competitive in round 3 for Harvard, Stanford etc - or whether that's unrealistic.
27M - British
Undergrad (4yrs)
- Oxford - (Double) First (apparently that's 4.0 on the US GPA system)
- Won a scholarship and quite a few prizes for academic perfomance
Work (3yrs)
- 3 years at a tier one US asset manager as an equity analyst
- Highly ranked on internal metrics and performance
Russia (~1yr)
- spent almost all of the last year in Russia studying Russian
- passed the C1 state language test (i.e. professional fluency)
GMAT
- haven't done the real thing but got 740 in one practice test
Extracurriculars
- bit thin here to be frank
- mostly I learn languages (Russian, French, Farsi) and box.
- I'm doing some volunteering with school kids but I've only just started this.
Many thanks
