The line chart illustrates the movements of stock price of four technology based companies, namely, Facebook, Google, Apple, and Yahoo. It depicts those companies' share price movement of five years, from year 2011 to year 2016.
As shown in the chart, the stock of Facebook and Yahoo started almost at the same value, nearly 7500 unit per share. While share price of Facebook grew at a constant rate from year to 2011 to 2016 and stood at 20000 unit per share, that of Yahoo decrease gradually on the same time period and stopped at nearly 6000 unit per share share at the end of the period.
On the other hand, the share price of Apple started at 5000 unit. Although it value rocketed to nearly 33000 unit in 2012, in 2013 it faced a sudden fall to almost 6500 unit. The following years it fluctuated, and showed a overall downward trend. At last, google's share price remained constant throughout the whole period; no move was observed in its share value.
Overall, Facebook's share value can be predicted to rise in the future, though that Yahoo's might fall further. As Apple's share price fluctuated the whole time it might face a small decrease in the next year, and no movement can be predicted on Google's share value.
