Hello All,
I need some helpful advice and a critique. I'm working toward taking the GMAT toward end of summer. I have been studying for the GMAT hardcore approx 2 months. I need some advice.
My last scores on a Princeton Review test was Quant 37 (9 Wrong/28 Right) & Verbal 26!!! (Sentence Corr: 8 Wrong/7 Right, Arg: 10 Right/2 Wrong, Reading Comp: 10 Right/4 Wrong).
Obviously I suck at Sentence Correction, and I am a native English speaker! I've already reviewed both PR Manhattan, and OG guide. How can I improve this Sentence Correction score?
Also, Based on these figures do you feel 690-700 is not going to happen for me by end of summer?

Don't worry. I* am sure you can hit 700+.
I think you must Practicccccccce a lot.
Here I recommed you to review and to thoroughly analyze Explanations (some don't have them) of following materials:
-McGrawHill Gmat /2006.
-Kaplan 800 (Q and V) and OG10/11 ( only Verbal)
-GMAT sets (really good) and SC 1000
-Princeton (explanation is good)
-PowerPrep, Gmatprep ( to see your level)
-important web sites:
https://www.scorechase.com
https://www.litesee.com
https://www.gmatclub.com
For SC there is a book of White (author). Unfortunately I couldn't remember the name of that book.
Don't forget :RC and CR weigh more than SC. But weight of the RC is the most among them. That's why don't neglect RC and CR.
In SC TRY to identify type of mistakes there are 16-20 of them so that next time you don't make same mistakes. But you can achieve this only by practicing a lot that's in a day at least 40 Q and 40 verbal questions with tharoughly analysing Official explanations.
This is what i know and what I read. Hope this will help u

ok - so let's look at the good part first.
You have been studying for 2 months and you scored well in verbal considering there is so much to cover.
Let's look at what you need to do!
as UMB pointed out that you need to go thru lot of stuff.
Another thing which I have found to be equally important is concentration. What I have found as we near to the end of a section our concentration starts to slip, especially in the verbal as we are already good fours hours into the test.
I would suggest you analyze this aspect of your performance also. Ask your self a question is your concentration slipping while you are half way thru the test??. If you a trend where you are making the most mistakes after you have reached half way thru a section ... bingo! you have your answer.
Another way to analyze is see on which questions you spent more time and work specifically on those areas. This would take much less time and I am sure you will see a marked improvement in your scores next time!
