Hi , Please evaluate

PFB overview of my profile. I am planning for Fall 2016

-Background-

- Eastern Europe, Ukrainian (from war region) - 27

-Education-
GMAT 680. (but two scores combined 710)
Local state, business major GPA 3.9/4

-Work Experience-
BIG4 audit (1y), mid-sized industry (4y)

-Extracurricular Etc-
no

-Schools of Interest-
top 30-50 us

Please advise what to write in esseys, strong, weak parts.
Thanks in advance

employer name, titles, promotions, greatest achievements, volunteer work, sports, community service, religious involvement, leadership.. etc. before I can give you a real evaluation.

It will also be very helpful if you can elaborate upon your goals.

Jon

First job Big4 audit, second - non-name mid-sized Ukrainian
no volunteer work, sports, community service, religious involvement
promotions, greatest achievements, leadership - nothing special
Actualy the reality here, in the post-soviet country, is that corruption is everywhere and a lot of positions are taken by relatives and friends and it's hard to nearly impossible to grow in that environment - how adcoms treat this situations in different countries? How can one compare career prospects in US with that in Belarus or Ukraine?

What should I emphasize in esseys? Should I say about:
- liberal revolution in the country?
- war conditions?
- corruption?
- need of western-educated people?

Hey there,
So even if you have several weaknesses in your profile, I feel like 30-50 (even 20-50) should be possible IF your story is amazing. What I mean is that you can do a LOT with your essays to stand out and boost your profile. Okay, so you tell ME you haven't done any interesting extras. But don't tell that to the Adcom!

As for how the AdComs treat people from other countries, well they know some of the differences. But honestly, coming from a post-Soviet country is not a good reason for not having ECs volunteer work and the rest. I've working with dozens if not hundreds of candidates from ex-Soviet countries and many DO have that.

In the essays, you can write about whatever you want. The important thing is that 1. What you write is relevant to your GOALS and thus to your application 2. That somehow it is BOOSTING your profile in the eyes of the AdCom.

I hope these thoughts help,
Best,
Jon
