Hi,
Could anyone please evaluate my profile and suggest B schools that would be in reachable range. (Cost and ROI is very important for me !!). Starting from Introduction, i'm 25 yr male from India. I have 4.5 yrs of experience in Software MNC (TCS), worked in 3 different Projects. Please find my details below:
1. Deutsche Bank- Since 2014, Currently working as Functional Analyst from Vendor side (TCS) to support set of Bank in house developed applications. Also work as ITAO-Delegate (Information Technology Asset owner)- for 4 applications and managing 3 resources under me. This is Deutsche Bank Internal role and involves Project Management tasks such as Internal-external Audits, Regulatory, compliance, disaster recovery/Business Continuity plan, managing access, reporting to stakeholders.
2. Volkswagen Automobile- worked 6 months as Test Analyst. was responsible to test new release in lower environments and provided sign-off for movement of fixes in production. discussing Business requirement with stakeholders and creating test scenarios accordingly. sharing status reports with client. Worked as SPOC (Single Point of contact) on Client location.
3. Best buy- worked as Test analyst and UAT coordinator for retail project for one year. As Part of L3 support team, tested fixes provided for legacy system and provided sign-off in lower environments. Also Coordinated UAT with business users and worked toward the closure of Incidents raised.
Academic: Graduation - B. Tech (electronics and communication )- 7.12/10 CGPA
12th- 67.3 %
10th- 75.5 %
GMAT (530-Q46, V19)- this is killing me
Achievements- Took charge of ITAO-D from senior colleague having 10 years of experience in industry and earned trust of client (ITAO) without zero escalation.
Worked as SPOC and awarded as "Best team member " from TCS.
Certified in Business Analysis and skills in Risk Management
Can write and Read German language (Learnt in college for a year )
Extra curricular: Active Member of Rotary Blood donation club and Volunteered for Program.
Awarded with "Certificate of Coordinator" to raise funds for CANCER AID SOCIETY camp in school.
Member of NPO trust that provide free clothing/food to needy people.
i can arrange LOR from Assistance Vise President (AVP), Deutsche Bank and VP, Goldmann Sachs.
request experts to evaluate my profile and suggest b schools where i can be a good fit. I'm looking forward to apply in europe schools (specially Germany but open for all suggestions
). I've been in contact with some schools over e-mail. I need feedback for HOSHCHULE PFORZHEIM (University of applied Science ). It is public college, which offers 21 month MBA in International management program that includes Internship. Cost is far less compared with other B schools in Germany (Total tuition fee- 12000 euros ). It is claimed to be in Top 10 in Germany and accredited with AACSB too.
GMAT required :550, college has asked me to apply with this stats.
Please guide me as i am confused whether to reinstate my score and apply or take another shot for GMAT (this would be tough decision !!)

Thanks for posting, and sorry to hear of your GMAT frustration. Have you taken a prep course or worked with a tutor?? I would highly recommend it, as I've seen people improve greatly from the mid 500's with the help of a reputable course and/or tutor. Have you taken the test more than once? Also you said the school asked for a 550 or did you mean they encouraged you with the 530, wasn't sure I followed that point. Have you also considered the GRE as an option, if any of your schools you are interested in would accept it? But it sounds like you need to really invest some time/resources in test prep particularly verbal. Keep me posted and will try to help further!!

Yes, i took coaching classes with Jamboree. I prepared for GMAT for past 5-6 months. Given several Mocks including GMAT prep 1 & 2. I was scoring 27 to 32 (this was max, scored in Manhattan prep) in Verbal part. Unfortunately, i did disaster on real GMAT.
Do you suggest any course/prep for me that would help me to improve points. i can not afford private tutor cost.
As i want to join b school next fall (2017 Intake), i think i am already late, Considering retaking GMAT and apply.
Yes, college has encouraged me to apply with this score. Admission team said that i would receive low points for GMAT score but motivational letter, extra curriculum essay, CV and Interview also matters. Once team receive application package, they start evaluation and invite me for interview.
I do not want to go for GRE. Could you please advise, what should i do ?
