Nationality: Indian

My credentials are as:

1. GMAT: 710 (Q49, V38)
2. B.Tech. (VNIT, Nagpur) : 8.38/10
3. 12th: 83.33%
4. 10th: 92.2%

Extra-curricular activities:

1. Silver medal in Maths Olympiad - National level
2. Won Swimming competition in district level
3. Won badminton match in college

Social activities:

1. Started my own one classroom school for underprivileged children back in my hometown
2. Was actively associated with Prayaas, the social club of the college


Experience (No international experience)

1. Steel Authority of India Limited (4.5years) - Manufacturing Industry
Working as assistant manager and is responsible for operations of a major shop
2. Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (6 months) - Manufacturing Industry
Worked as a management trainee and was responsible for operations of a major shop

Requirement:

1. I am looking for a foreign university, preferably of USA
2. I want at least 50% scholarship


I want to do an MBA in Productions and Operations Management or General Management. So please, suggest me some of the colleges, where my chances of getting admitted are above 80%.

Hi and thanks for your post.
You have a solid profile. Schools will look at your work experience, extracurriculars, and stats (GPA/GMAT) when analyzing your profile.
Your work experience looks good, as I hope you have made a strong impact there and have good leadership experiences to discuss.
Schools will be impressed by the fact that you started a school for underprivileged children as that shows leadership and someone who is likely to make a difference in the MBA community.
Regarding your stats, your GMAT specifically is good but it is below average for your demographic; perhaps you can retake it to strengthen your profile.

It is very difficult to say that anyone has an 80% chance of getting into a top school, because they are all competitive and simply do not have room to accomodate every strong applicant. That being said, you could look into schools ranked between 20 and 30 in the US. I always advise applying to 2 reach, 2 target, and 2 safety schools.
