Hi Ben - thanks for your post! I think overall your chances are good, you seem to have an interesting profile and I don't see any glaring concerns. I would strongly consider applying to a range of programs though because it's a competitive process, especially at schools like INSEAD and LBS. So I think expanding your list to schools like IESE, Cambridge, Oxford, maybe HEC Paris or ESADE too.
To get more specific -- I think you have the following strengths...
-Experience living/working in two countries (diversity is plus for all schools)
-Your GMAT seems solid, and a 710 puts you above the median for the programs you list
-The consistency in your current role to post-MBA role in consulting (i.e. you have evidence you will be successful!)
-The diversity in your work experiences will likely make for some interesting application essays
-Your non-profit work sounds like a good example of your leadership - schools generally don't weight things from university all that much but the fact that you're still involved on the board is great!
Your grades seem OK as you say, hard to say without seeing your transcript, but I don't think that would be a huge concern. You may be just slightly above the average age for these programs (though you'll want to double check those stats). Not a big red flag (especially since some of that time was in the military) but just something to be aware of as you explain why you want an MBA at this point in your career.
So assuming you can put together really solid application essays that tell a compelling story about your past experience and make a strong case for why you'll be successful, I think you're a strong candidate. If we can help with anything else, please let us know!
