UG - 3.7 in ECE From india (GITAM univ)
and MS - 3.67 in EE From US
I have a work experience of 8 years mostly concentrated in data analytics and reporting. work experience - 50% consulting and 50% Full time. 80% of the time i worked in Finance industry and I am considering to do my MBA in Finance or consulting.
I am giving my GMAT in April.
Please suggest what will be ideal GMAT score I need to target to get into top 20 US B schools.
From practice tests i am able to get V34 M45. Planning to spend at least 3 hours every day for gmat prep and I am thinking i will improve in the coming 2 months of preparation.

Though I am not an expert, any score above 700 in GMAT can get you admits in top 20 colleges But my friend you belongs to 'Indian IT male ' Category ,so you have to score above the average score of 730 in GMAT.
Dude I am not discouraging you, but to be on safer side you have to score 730 or for sure 700+. Apart from GMAT score, schools see other things in your profile such as extra curricular activates, your academics ,what you can bring in the class ,etc.
SO GMAT is just the qualifying criteria to apply in any business school and I believe you have the potential to get this score ,so best of Luck.

3. WE: What firms? Responsibilities? Promotions?
If most info is below average, you need 740 or higher.
